How To Find Affordable Parking Spots at YYC

Among the 5 largest airports of Canada in terms of passenger and cargo volumes, the fourth largest one is located at Calgary, in the province of Alberta. The international airport at Calgary is referred to as YYC Calgary International airport.

Like most busy airports of the world, YYC too has grown substantially in the last few years, with more airlines now operating from here. Ticket costs have also reduced, allowing more people to travel than ever before. While this is good for the airlines and for the economy, and of course a boon for the people, it does have one downside.

The parking space inside most airports has been built several years back, when the airport was being constructed. But with the passage of time, the people and cars using that parking has increased manifold. It is more and more difficult to be sure of finding a vacant parking lot. But more than the lack of availability, another problem is that the parking fees have increased substantially. Whether you are looking for a suitable parking for a few hours, or you are looking for long term parking YYC, it is not an easy task at usual hours of the day.

There are alternatives you can use, though. Just outside most of the large airports, you will find large parking spaces operated by private parties. They are priced much more reasonably than the in-airport parking lots. You won’t find it too inconvenient to reach these parking lots from the airport because they operate shuttle buses. These buses can also pick you up from the parking lot after you have parked your car, and take you to airport. Additionally, they also offer other amenities like dependable security, free car wash etc., which make things very convenient, and you do not need to worry about finding affordable parking.
